World War II

A small group of members have published a book chronicling the stories of WWII in the parish and in neighbouring Bisley Parish – those who gave their lives, those who served, and those who supported the Home Front.

 

The book, entitled “Return to War: Bisley and Chalford Civil Parishes 1939-1945 was published in 2021. Some copies may still be available for sale (£10 each), contact the Secretary using the contact form
